Broken Furniture Collection With Cracks And Breaks

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The natural properties of wood are part of the 
design in Jalmari Laihinen’s Broken collection. Wood cracks, breaks and 
has defects, and Broken is an ongoing investigation into breaking wood. 
 Often pieces with imperfections are discarded as unwanted, but their 
value should be embraced as unique. That’s why the connecting parts, the
 legs of stools and tables for example, have been broken, showing 
splinters of wood at the points of rupture. Laihinen’s work combines 
cabinetmaking, carving and furniture design with the aim to produce playful, thought-provoking works. Would you dare to make a statement in your home with such furniture? </div>

Sculptural Furniture Collection That Ties The Knot

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Some artists can tame even the toughest materials 
and bend them at will, creating some of the most unique shapes and 
designs. We’ve already shared fantastic Why Knot table
 by artisan Kino Guerin, and today I’d like to continue this theme 
sharing the whole collection by this designer; there are benches, 
shelves and tables
 which feature smooth curves and look like they’ve been tied in a knot. 
The “Apple Table” is a piece with a versatile and multifunctional 
design, the “Simple Twist Shelf” seems to defy gravity with its artistic
 design, the “Nebula Table” sits perfectly level and stable and stands 
out with its knotted and twisted base and the “C Shelves” are the 
simplest of all the pieces but definitely not lacking style or 
functionality. Each of these sculptural pieces can make a statement in 
any room! </div>

Whimsy Unbutton Furniture Collection Inspired By Pin Up Models

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Cristina Bulat has designed The Unbutton Collection, a sideboard and two bedside tables,
 that were inspired by the clothes of Pin-Up models. The Unbutton 
Collection represents the harmonious meeting between the Scandinavian 
Design, characterized by clear forms and natural finishes, with the 
influences of the Pin-Up culture. The drawers are made of solid oak wood
 with linden veneer on the top face. The Unbutton Collection will be 
soon launched on the market and will be available almost all of the RAL 
palette of colors. The furniture is so whimsy and playful, it will add fun and humor to your space. </div>

Colorful Edera Modular System For Home Upgrades

<div style="text-align: justify;">
What if there was an easy way to creatively 
upgrade your home, without the hassle of handiwork? There’s a great 
idea! It’s Edera, a decorative modular system envisioned by Italian 
designer Loris De Grandi and produced by Formabilio. The project 
consists of rhomboid elements able to grow and evolve, starting from a 
soft <a href="http://www.shelterness.com/durable-diy-ciao-rope-door-mat/">carpet</a>
 to become a headboard for beds and sofas. The base element has two 
equilateral triangles with soft padding and fluffy felt with contrast 
stitching and non-slip bottom. The Velcro strips along the sides of the 
triangle allow a fast and intuitive connection between the modules, 
ensuring a perfect seal in the <a href="http://www.digsdigs.com/26-awesome-rugs-that-accentuate-your-floor/">carpet</a> version, while the practical snap buttons allow you to create compositions to be hung on the ceiling or fixed to the wall. </div>

Touch Of Spring: Grass Stool Collection

In winter the things we need most is sunshine and <a href="http://www.digsdigs.com/29-fresh-wheatgrass-home-decor-ideas-to-try-in-spring/">green grass</a>,
 if you want to bring a piece of spring to your home, there’s a way to 
do that. Grass is the name of new collection of Stools made by Jean-Marc
 Attia from Marron Rouge in France. GRASS is the discovery of an 
unexpected material, which recovers sports fields equipped with 
synthetic <a href="http://www.digsdigs.com/natural-grass-dining-table-for-a-big-city-picnic/">grass</a>.
 The top of the stool is in recycled synthetic grass slightly padded 
with foam. The edge of the seat is in denim canvas, feet are eucalyptus 
wood. I think, this is a nice idea to bring a nature touches and remind 
yourself of spring. </div>

Smart And Stylish Leaning Loop Organizer

Toronto-based designer Jason van der Burg of 
Urbanworm Design, has created the Leaning Loop, a multi-purpose 
organizer made from solid hardwood. It is a handcrafted modular clothing
 hanger, bag holder, gadget shelf, <a href="http://www.shelterness.com/stylish-diy-framed-bathroom-mirror/">mirror</a>, magnet board, <a href="http://www.shelterness.com/cool-diy-plywood-key-holder/">key holder</a>,
 and shoe shelf all in one slender package. It requires only a wall and 
gravity to do its part – no wall attachment is necessary as it has been 
carefully calculated and designed to lean perfectly on its own without 
losing balance; adding items like clothing actually helps make it more 
stable. Small bumpers at the back and bottom loop ensure scuff-free and 
unmarred surfaces while it fits neatly into condos, apartments, entry 
spaces, hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms, offices or studio work areas. </div>
