Located in an older part of Stockholm, this airy
apartment in a protected 18th century heritage building received the
sensitive restoration it deserved from London-based Scandinavian design
duo Studiomamma. Leaving the original structure as untouched as
possible, they focused on a minimalist aesthetic that set off the beauty
of the space, adding modern pieces and bright notes of color here and
there. The modern kitchen and bathroom are in marble, which blends
effortlessly with the rest of the interior. A large fireplace
original place heats the room, while through the windows you can enjoy
an exceptional view of the churches of the old town. I love the cheerful
bright orange accents that make the space look vivacious and not so
strictly minimalist.
