DINN: A Minimalist Clock With A Brass Bell

Alessandro Zambelli’s DINN is a ‘musical clock’
 for the Italian brand Diamantini&Domeniconi, that takes inspiration
 from La Campanella (The Little Bell), Paganini’s most famous concerto, 
in which the orchestra’s hand bell plays a key role. The round face of 
the clock
 takes bare essentials almost to an extreme, and within the circle is 
one bright, attention-grabbing spark of originality – it’s a small, 
unexpected bell that contrasts brassily with the essential face of the 
timepiece. The precious detail stands out as the clock’s dining ‘heart’.
 No numbers, no patterns, just pure minimalism and an eye-catching 
detail! Genius! </div>

Eye-Catching Cuckoo X Clock With Two Birds

A clock
 can become a very eye-catching detail in any interior if it’s original 
enough. One of such things is Haoshi Design’s Cuckoo X clock that comes 
with two birds – it’s modern interpretation of a traditional cuckoo 
clock. It’s a battery-powered clock, made of resin, has two birds, one 
in the clock perched on the side and the other on the wall facing the clock.
 The birds meet each hour, on the hour, “so they can keep each other 
company”, says Haoshi Design. In traditional models, cuckoo clocks have 
only one diligent bird to tell time, which is a little lonely, but here 
we got two – and that’s fun!</div>

Especially, if it’s the block Clock by Cincinatti studio Such + Such. 
Block Clocks are designed and carved from locally found hardwoods – 
North American Black Walnut and North American Hard Maple. Produced in 
Cincinnati, the Block Clocks are an exploration of both traditional 
craft and digital manufacturing. Each clock is individually numbered and
 offered in locally found hard woods; driven by a battery powered Quartz
 movement. I love the geometric design of the clocks,
 they look kind of futuristic, especially with those hands on the sides.
