Orwell Cabin Sofa For Comfort And Intimacy

cross between a sofa,
 bed and cabin invites the user to climb in and just feel comfortable 
and relaxed. The piece is sofa-shaped, with a high back, over which 
heavy quilted curtains can be drawn down to insulate against sound and 
create a “cabin”-like experience. The name Orwell, the author of ‘1984’,
 references the original idea of the product, which was to recapture 
that intimacy which can sometimes be lost, even within our own homes.

The result of two years of work, Bonaldo presents a new <a href="http://www.digsdigs.com/orwell-cabin-sofa-for-comfort-and-intimacy/">sofa</a>
 collection that includes ‘Cave’, designed by Mauro Lipparini, a soft 
sofa without any sharp corners and straight lines distinguished by new 
levels of comfort and functionality. Thanks to its soft flowing shapes, 
devoid of any sharp corners and edges, Cave lends itself to several 
interpretations of the concept of comfort. It stands out for its 
original design idea, which meets the needs of the <a href="http://www.digsdigs.com/26-ideas-to-accentuate-your-living-room-with-marsala/">living room</a>
 to perfection: indeed, the padded armrests can be replaced with storage
 compartments or magazine organizers in emery-leather. Cave’s armrests 
are available in multiple versions and upholstered with fabric, leather
