Three Dimensional And Green 8.4.1 Bookcase

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The vertical and horizontal planks of the 8.4.1 <a href="http://www.digsdigs.com/iconic-1950s-albero-bookcase-for-modern-interiors/">Bookcase</a>
 are offset to create a three dimensional composition providing a 
variety of shelf heights and depths. Created by Dublin-based 8BY4, it’s a
 furniture range conceived and defined by being CNC cut from sheet 
material with the goal of minimizing material wastage and ease of 
assembly/disassembly. The pieces are slot jointed together without the 
use of glue or fixings and the choice of material is defined by the end 
user: 10 interlocking planks of 18mm birch veneered plywood are slot 
jointed together. The <a href="http://www.digsdigs.com/25-original-mid-century-modern-bookcases-youll-like/">bookcase</a>
 shown uses one 8 x 4 ft sheet of material, however, the use of 
additional sheets allows the piece to expand in all dimensions. </div>

Going Green: Prefab Energy Efficient P.A.T.H. Home

P.A.T.H. home by Philippe Stark and Riko is the 
second generation of energy efficient prefabricated homes with a large 
emphasize on Eco-technological systems. Its name means Prefabricated 
Accessible Technological <a href="http://www.digsdigs.com/cozy-swedish-apartment-with-a-humorous-character/">Homes</a>,
 and it incorporates solar, thermal and wind systems (hidden on the 
roof) allowing to be mostly or completely off grid. By prefabricating 
the structures there is less waste, resulting in less material, which 
means less construction time, and less costs. There are two models to 
choose from; Formentera, which is a single storey concentric design, and
